ISRO Scientists Receive Word of Praise from President, Prime Minister

pslvNovember 6 – For blasting off the Mangalyaan successfully, scientists of Indian Space Research Organisation have received words of congratulations from both President and the Prime Minister of the country. President Pranab Mukherjee and PM Manmohan Singh congratulated all scientists engaged in the mission to mars project as soon as ISRO geared up to launch orbiter, which would detect presence of methane on mars, at 2:38 PM from Sriharikota and did it successfully.

Apart from the duo, Narendra D Modi, prime ministerial candidate of the BJP and CM of Gujarat, also congratulated all scientists and technicians who gave their bests in making launch of PSLV-C25 successful at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. The orbiter is probable to arrive at mars orbit by September, 2014. If the task gets fulfilled, then India will be first Asian nation to reach at Red Planet. Besides, this attempt of ISRO can make the country stand tall in the elite league of Europe, America and Russia that have already got success in this regard.
