Mangala Express Derails near Ghoti, Maharashtra; 3 Dead & 37 Injured

trainMaharashtra, November 15 – Journey by train turned a bad dream for the passengers traveling by Mangala Express which derailed near Ghoti in Maharashtra. 3 people were killed in the train mishap and nearly 37 passengers suffered injuries when ten coaches of Mangala Express derailed at Ghoti early today. The train was heading towards Ernakulam from Delhi.

As per railway sources, injured people have been admitted to nearby hospitals for getting required medical assistance. Beside this, bodies of two deceased have been recognized as Rahul Kushwaha and Satbir Singh from Aligarh and Haryana, respectively, while one remained unidentified.

The accidental derailing of the train on Friday has bothered schedules of a few trains as well. Rajyarani Express, Tapovan Express and Godavri Express have been cancelled for today due to the ongoing rescue process and for removing the derailed coaches from the track to clear it as soon as possible.
