Do High Cut-Off Lists Really Judge Students’ Potential?

studentsNew Delhi, Wednesday, June 22 – Getting admission in a Delhi University college is never easy. Class 12 passouts who thought good percentage will make their journey to get admission a cake walk are at present looking for all possible options to avoid a year waste.

It is true that students eye an entry the elite institute post completing Class XII but high cut off lists make their jobs highly difficult. If truth be told then high cut-offs by top colleges of Delhi are ruining dreams of the majority of 10+2 students who imagined of pursuing a course of their choice in the new session of 2016.

Condition of students with average grades in Class 12th can easily be understood since they see no way to make up in the colleges that come under Delhi University. Not to forget that rise in number of applications by students residing in various cities make colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi to raise cut-offs but higher numbers should not be considered the only criteria of judging students’ potential.
