Enthusiasm to Rise thanks to Upcoming Cricket Clashes Next Month

June 24 16:51 2016

indNew Delhi, Friday, June 24 – The level of interest is going to rise for the reason that a lot of cricket matches are to be held early next month. Teams are getting all set for the upcoming tours with the motto to add another feather in their caps that is possible through winning against the opponents. South African Women team will take a flight to Ireland to play 3-match T20 International series, 5-match ODI series.

Afghanistan will be touring Ireland and Scotland to play 5-match and 2- match ODI series, respectively. Challenges will be huge for Pakistan as well since they are to land on England soil. The current performances of the English cricketers, who lately won Test series against Sri Lanka and are doing well in 50-50 over matches are well, could be a problem for Pakistan.

Their stay in the foreign country is for long as last match between the two nations is to be played on September 7. The series is going to be interesting enough since four Test matches, five ODIs and only T20I are slated to take place in different grounds like Old Trafford in Manchester Lord’s in London, Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, Kennington Oval in London, Trent Bridge in Nottingham and Headingley in Leeds. India can’t dare to make mistake of considering West Indies, who are to host 4 Test matches, a weak contender at all, keeping in mind the unexpected result during the T20 Word Cup 2016.

The recent win of the Men in Blue over Zimbabwe will help both senior and young cricketers learn from experience they gained during lately concluded T20 and ODI series. Zimbabwe will have to prove a lot that they aren’t an underdog team but that will only be possible when  a habit of winning is developed.  Since New Zealand are to visit Zimbabwe to play two Tests, the home side will need to spend maximum time in the nets. Australia tour of Sri Lanka will grab eyeballs too. Home condition can be an advantage for the teams hosting series but that doesn’t guarantee success in the last part. Visiting squads can be victories if efforts are poured in right direction.
